Hurt Tag

I made this in Psp 10

We need:

- A nice tube. I used this one

- Selection Hurt ( save this in your selection folder)

- Filter Mezzoforce

- Font Modius Frigid

 

  • Open a new image, 500 x500 pixels, transparant

  • Selections > Select all

  • Open the tube

  • Edit > Copy

  • Activate the new image

  • Edit > Paste into selection

  • Selections > Select none

  • Effects > Distortion effects > Wave with these settings

Push Ok

  • Effects > Textureffects > Mozaic-glass with these settings

Push Ok

  • Effects > Distortion effects > Twirl with these settings

Push Ok

  • Effects > Plugins > 2Manekenai > Mezzoforce-Ice with these settings

Push Ok

  • Repeat Mezzoforce with the same settings

  • Layers > New rasterlayer

  • chose a light color from your tube, I used #ccbbb6

  • Flood fill the layer with the color

  • Layers > Arrange > Send to bottom

  • Activate the top layer in the layers pallette

  • Chose a dark color from your tube, I used #7b403e

  • Layers > New rasterlayer

  • Selections > Load selection from disk, search for your Hurt selection

Push Load

  • Flood fill the selection with the dark color

  • Selections > Select none

  • Activate your tube

  • Image > Resize, change height to 400 pixels

Push Ok

  • Edit > Copy

  • Activate the tag again

  • Edit > Paste as new layer

  • Move the tube to the left

  • Effects > 3D effects > Dropshadow with these settings

Push Ok

  • Activate your text tool. Chose the Modius Frigid Font, size 175. Create as vector

  • Lock the foregroundcolor and chose the dark color as your backgroundcolor

  • Click inside the tag en typ your text

  • Click on the plus-sign in front of your vectorlayer in the layerpallette. A new layer will appear. Right click on that layer and choose > Convert text to curves > As character shapes.

  • Click on the new plus-sign. You will see all characters of your text seperately. If you click on the characters in the pallette you can move them one by one now.

  • Move your characters one by one untill your text is in vertical position

  • Layers > Convert to rasterlayer

  • Effects > 3D effects > Dropshadow with the same settings as before

  • Layers > Merge > Merge visible

  • Image > Add borders, 5, color white

Push Ok

  • Select de border with your magic wand and flood fill with the dark color

  • Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel with these settings

Push Ok

  • Selections > Select none

  • Effects > 3D effects > Cutout with the dark color as shadowcolor and these settings

Push Ok

  • Repeat this with vertical and horizontal on -6

  • Selections > Select none

  • Image > Add borders, 25, kleur wit

  • Select a part of your tag with the selection tool

  • Edit > Copy

  • Select the white border with your magic wand

  • Edit > Paste into selection

  • Effects > Plugins > 2Manekenai > Mezzoforce-Ice with the same settings as before

  • Repeat mezzoforce

  • Effects> 3D effects > Cutout with the same settings as before, horizontal and vertical on 6

  • Repeat cutout with horizontal and vertical on -6

  • Image > Add borders , 5, color white

  • Select the border with your magic wand

  • Flood fill the border with the dark color

  • Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel with the same settings as before

  • Selections > Invert

  • Repeat Cutout twice, once with horizontal en vertical on 6 and once on -6

  • Selections > Select none

  • You can resize your tag now if you want. I changed mine to 400 pixels
